These Truths

Liberty

“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all (wo)men are created equal,
that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights,
that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”
-The Declaration of Independence, USA.

Call me a romantic if you like, but this tiny sentence makes me cry every single time I read it.   I thank God that I was born in a country where freedom was the first thought.    It has created a country where we know from the time we are born that we can do anything, be anything, and achieve anything we can imagine.  The only downside to this is that there are so many opportunities out there.   And as our children come to us with wide eyes filled with a desire to grow up and be just like…”Lady Gaga” half of us wants to scream, “NO!”  We just can’t seem to wrap our thoughts around wholeness and free thoughts from the duality of Freedom vs. NO!  Not for me (Or Not for my babies!)

The law of first thought is that first seed of intention you add to anything you decide to create.   Our founding fathers decided to create a separate country apart from England,and from the contrast they felt to what they really wanted, they decided to create this union.  From those first thirteen united states was born the first thought…”We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all (wo)men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”     I imagine that when England received word they were thinking, “NO!  Not my baby!” “Oh, the money we’ve invested in them!” “Oh, the time, energy and effort we have invested!” “No, we can’t let it happen!”

This is what I know about creation.

  1. What we desire most comes from the contrast of it’s absence.
  2. The desire itself comes from the Divine, the universe itself wanting to grow.  Think of your desire as the carrot on the stick… moving you to a new place, a new awareness of who you are.
  3. We can not create for anyone else.   READ that again.
  4. The decision to create the new reality is the switch that activates all unseen forces to aid in your new creation.
  5. Creation happens easiest when you remove the weed thoughts (temptations, limiting beliefs, doubt, worry, fear..) from your mind.
  6. You know you’ve made a decision to create a new reality when you truly feel the power of the thought, “There is no looking back now!”
  7. Contrary to what some professional development ‘gurus’ might tell you, creating something new will never require you to change who you are.  It will always require you to allow more of who you are into the world.

Creating a new country, a new business, or a new you, is not about changing who your are, it is all about becoming aware of who you really are!

And that my friend is FREEDOM!

Bonus thought on creation…  It is ALWAYS easier when you have someone else who supports your vision and can hold you accountable til it’s creation.  No, they can’t create for you, they can however cheer you on until you cross the finish line.
